The Angling Intelligence Unhooking Mat has been some considerable time in design. We have gone through countless samples and tried numerous new concepts. We discounted cradle designs as we have seen nightmare scenarios where people struggle with them during trophy shots, getting the net free etc or think it is acceptable to leave fish secured why they run off to get their mates!!! The mat is 60inches long and demonstrates optimum padding to ensure it gives complete protection whilst still being practical enough to place on a barrow or even carry. The sides are also padded to provide support and a significant degree of protection if the fish kicks off the main mat area. It is also not unusual for a fish to go mad and slide off the end of a mat so we gusseted the ends to eliminate this. It is the ultimate big fish mat for big fish anglers.
