To “STIFFUN” the outer coating, pass through steam from boiling kettle, turning around for even distribution. Alternatively place in a container of boiling water for a couple of minutes, take out and pull taut, allowing to cool for maximum stiffness. We recommend a 3 or 4 turn Grinner or figure of eight loop knot, do not pull knot to tight as this will break the outer coating, tease the knot down or place a small piece of shrink tube over knot before steaming for best results.

Please Note: Stiffun only needs to be STEAMED once, it can then be straightened with fingers if it loses its shape when reeling in, also sinks very well on its own.
