The Can That Heats Itself !

How Does Hotcan Work? You may be wondering what's going on inside the can? Like all great ideas it's quite simple but very clever and most important of all perfectly safe! Surrounding the can of food is an outer can, which is a self-contained heating unit. The contains baked limestone - the same basic compound you might find in toothpaste or indigestion tables and completely non-toxic - above which there is a water jacket. When you pierce the water jacket with the spike, water tuns onto the limestone and sets up a natural reaction which generates heat. Your food is heated to a perfect temperature for eating of 60-70 degrees after about 8 - 12 minutes.
