Osprey Photo-Chromic Running Rig
Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008There are many lead setups you can use and the running rig is one which can be very effective but its often overlooked by many anglers. The rig components used in the demonstration are Osprey Photo-Chromic Anti Tangle Tube, Osprey Photo-Chromic Free Run Rig, Osprey Tactical Clear Leads and Osprey Tactical Size 8 Swivels.
Step 1.
Thread your desired amount of anti tangle tubing onto your mainline. (See picture below)
Step 2.
Now thread the lead onto the mainline and anti tangle tubing. Make sure you use a lead heavy enough to hold bottom so that the fish can move off with the rig without moving the lead. (See picture below)
Step 3.
Then thread the Osprey Tactical Photo-Chromic Free Run Rig on to the mainline. (See picture below)
Step 4.
Now attach the Osprey Tactical Size 8 Swivels using the palomar knot. (See picture below)
Step 5.
Push all the components together so that the run rig bead sits over the swivel and the tubing is inserted into the bead. (See picture below)
This is what the finished rig should look like.
