New Personal Best For Sean

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

Regular Carp Catchers Blog contributer Sean has had a new PB here’s his report. Hi John, just got back from a 24hr session on pit 6 and had my first mirror from there, and new U.K. PB to boot. Fish was 25lbs on the nose and fell to 2 pieces of Enterprise Pop-Up Sweetcorn tied Blow Back style to a size 10 Gardner Longshank Incizor  and 15lb jelly wire. Well done Sean, keep them coming.

At Last!!!!!

Friday, May 28th, 2010

After a very long lean spell customer Sean Bowen has landed a nice common from the difficult Pit 6. It’s not the biggest carp in the world, but they all count and when your struggling size doesn’t matter. Sean broke his blank spell using Baitcraft T1 Freezer Boilies  his rig featured a Korda Soft Coated Braid hooklink tied to a size 8  Korda Kurv Shank Hooks . Well done Sean on, keeping on.

Pit 6 Session – Lea

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

Regular customer Lea also had a successful session on the difficult Pit 6 recently. Lea had two common carp weighing 16lb and two mirror carp one at 11lb 5oz and one at 17lb. The baits that Lea used were Mainline Cell Freezer Boilies and Dynamite Baits new Red Fish Freezer Boilies . No rig details from Lea but whatever he was using obviously worked. Nice one Lea.

Pit 6 Session – Sean

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

Regular customer Sean Bown had a session on pit 6 recently and had a very nice result. Sean has struggled on this difficult water but has kept at it. Persistence paid off and three nice commons of 17lb(2) and 19lb 12oz fell to Seans’ rods. Two of Seans’ commons fell to zig rigs with Gardner Black Zig Rig Foam as a hookbait. The other took a Baitcraft T1  bottom bait. Well done Sean, nice one.
